About the Federal Way Senior Center

About Us

Federal Way Senior Center has operated for nearly 45 years as a 501c3 non-profit member association serving South King County residents. We provide a comfortable place where people can receive food at our Food Bank and Nutritional Meal Program, engage in educational information, social activities, computer classes, pinochle, bingo, live music, holiday celebrations, excursions, games, exercise, and the opportunity to form mutually supporting friendships. During COVID-19 we have been open helping seniors, veterans, and anyone in need with social services, community resources and referrals.

Mission

Our mission is to provide programs and services to promote physical and social well-being and a welcoming environment where people can enjoy warm friendships, healthy activities, joyful experiences and meaningful engagement to adults 55 years and older. In addition, our Food Bank relieves hunger in our diverse community through a network of partner agencies. We distribute food to people of all ages without judgement
